One job that involves a lot of chemistry is pharmacist. It's a difficult profession, but it pays great money and is in huge demand. A pharmacist that mixes custom drugs might be best for you to job shadow.

Early 5 to 10 years after graduation : - Fields (Examples) R&D - Laboratories, Environmental, Pharmaceutical Engineering & Manufacturing- Hydrocarbon Processing (Petrochem, Oil Refinery or Natural Gas), Chemicals (e.g. edible oils), Sales & Marketing - selling chemicals, fine or bulk, e.g. plastics (PE, PP, etc), pharmaceutical products 10 years & beyond Supervisory or Managerial & then, CEO.... (actively involving in the Capital and Security Markets.....) & SUCCESS!!
