Does an artist have to be registered with an orginization for their work to earn recognition?
Asked by overdorfjo
I paint and draw animals and landscape scenes and was told that, if I were "registered" my works would earn recognition and value. Is this true in Hawaii? If so then, who do I see and what is required?

not true at all, although it would help. You need to find a gallery that is willing to host your artwork.. they get a nice commission. If the right people shows up, including collectors, art critics etc your work will grow reputation and value. Hope that helps!
