Sheetmetal worker, Maintenance fitter, Welder (of course), Fitter and machinist, Motor mechanic, Air conditioning fitter.

McDermott here in Louisiana hires welders and they pay extremely well here because it is so hard to find welders that can pass a drug screen

To tell you the truth, there aren't many. Welding is a very demanding skilled trade, which is always in high demand here in S. Louisiana. Depending upon where you are located, you may look into inspecting, project management, etc., these jobs in many instances require a history in or with the welding field. Good Luck!!
