I started driving 5 weeks ago, but want to work as a cable tech, how many months of driving exp. do I need?
Asked by John R
I live in the northern va. area and I don't have much experience on highways. The only jobs that I can apply for and get hired would be with telecommunications ie. satellite installation, cable tv, voice/data. so I'm looking forward to doing that but I cringe at the thought of not knowing how to drive as well as workers in this kind of field of work.

Just let me know what streets you normally drive on.

I wouldn't mention it if I wasn't asked about it. In the mean time get as much practice as you can. Driving a van or pick up isn't that much different than a car. Good Luck
