Can you make a lot of money telemarketing?

I'm looking for a telemarketing position on the east coast. Anyone out there in the telemarketing industry who makes a lot of money? If so, which company? And what is your income?

Good luck with this industry right now. The 'National Do Not Call List' has put some stiff fines in place impacting the telemarketing business. If you are looking for something in this field, look at larger companies - banks and other financial companies are probably good choices right now. Inside Sales positions are basically the same type of position so don't restrict your search to just a specific title.
