How would I go about finding and getting an entry level job in the publishing business?

I live in Cincinnati, and was wondering how to get into the publishing business. What positions are entry level and how do I get them?

Start off at a small publication or newspaper. Take on as many tasks as you can so you will learn all areas. After 2 years, go to a larger publishing firm as an Associate Editor or whatever tickles your fancy.
