My son was a Teacher's Assistant. One of his teachers just simply asked him if he would like to do it. He was an assistant during his free periods in school and simply performed tasks various teachers needed to have done, but didn't have time to do. Things like checking out the movie projector, fetching books from the library, working in the office, etc. Ask your school office personnel or a teacher, they can give you the general details. You have to have good grades, by the way. I hope this is what you are looking for. I know some parents are teachers aids in the lower grade schools and they are usually paid. They do have to go through a background check to see if they are suitable.
