Any Mining Work Available In Queensland?
Asked by telebloke
Hi, my son has done a little bit of Trades assistants work in mine in South Oz about 2 years ago. He was only there for 2 months and had to come back home to Qld because of family matters. He just lost his Qld job and is hoping to get a mining job near Mackay, Gladstone etc on Qld coast. Does anyone know what situation is at present for labourers with a little experience and have already done mining inductance?

There are plenty of jobs for tradespeople in the Mackay and Gladstine Mining areas. I live in CQ, there are always plenty of jobs listed, and they all pay very well. Gladstone has a big aluminuim smelter and the mines near Mackay are in the Bowen Basin. I am sure he will have no problems. Check out the following website: www.worksearch.com.au
