How would you distinguish Operations Management from General Management and Organisational Behaviour?

I will be interested in reading any responses you receive. I graduated from college with a degree in Operations Management, in 1974. I still don't know what it is or how it differs from any other degree in Business Management. With my degree, I got a job as an insurance claims adjuster and never used anything I learned in college. Go figure.
