Eddie
pay rates for wastewater treatment workers?

I carry a "B" license in water. Working my way up through the years, I was not paid near enough for the job performed. We are the unseen workers until something goes wrong and then we are the most important people around. People expect the lights to come on when they flip the switch and water to flow when they turn on the faucet. They take all that for granted and don't know what goes into that effort (by us) to provide them with the service. We are much overworked and underpaid for what we do. The average worker should make no less than $20.00 per hour.

Please indicate:state, county, and city? but in a ball park-figure they start at $14.00 an hour (with benifits) for entry level. Yes a darn good job, but it stinks, lol
