What is the difference in pay for a Vet Tech vs a Vet Assistant in Illinois?
Asked by thisiswhatisay!
What is the difference in pay for a vet tech and a vet assistant in Illinois? I am very interested in becoming either an assistant or technician and I would like to know the pay difference. I only assume that a technician makes more because they are required more training and college than a vet assistant. Does anyone know the difference and what makes the two jobs different? Is it hard to be a veterinary technician? Please let me know thanks!
