My husband is 43 and has been a Senior Accountant since college (not tax accountant)....?
Asked by j b
He now wants to change his career out of the Finance field and get a job that requires a Bachelors Degree (which he has) in another industry.........how should he go about changing careers?

Well, part of that depends on what field he wants to enter. If he wants to move into an entirely different field - like from Accounting to managing a production department - he'd have a difficult time. And if, for example, he wants to go from his Senior Accountant job and get into something like Investment Management, well, it's more do-able but still tough. The amount of transferrable knowledge he has will be key to his ability to smoothly transition.
