Keith B
Exactly how do you go about applying for a TSA Security/Enforcement job?
Asked by Keith B
I have visited the usajob website and keep getting sent to other windows which seem to go on and on. I would like to go directly to the job application website and apply. Or would it just be better for me to go to the local airport and talk to the TSA personnel there?

This link should help you: http://jobsearch.usajobs.opm.gov/jobsearch.asp?re=3&pg=4&q=TSA+Security+officer&FedEmp=N&jbf574=HSBC&brd=3876&vw=d&ss=0&FedPub=Y&caller=%2Fa9tsa.asp The job title is TRANSPORTATION SECURITY OFFICER (TSO) (screener) and make sure you click on the proper location. The whole process is VERY long. They do a detail background investigation on basically everyone you know. My sister applied in May, they began their investigation like in July, and she didn't begin training until the end of September. Good luck!
