How much does an assistant manager at a small retail store in a mall make?

I have a "friend" who works at E.B. Toys in the mall and claims to make about 800 bucks a week as an assistant manager. He is a giant liar, so your help would be appreciated in proving him to be said liar. Its in CT. We have a state minimum wage of I think 7.40. If that helps thanks.
