(and Fall/Summer weather in the US? My husband is an accountant and I'm a secretary. We just moved to North Carolina and it fell way beyond our expectations for getting jobs. Can you recommend another State?

Southern Illinois near the Edwardsville area/St. Louis and south of there. The housing is reasonable (outside the metro areas), the landscape is breathtaking and it's not bitter cold during the winter. Job opportunities are plentiful in the area and you can have your metro, but live in the country or smaller communities for a sense of community and peace. No hustle and bustle. There's plenty to do for recreation including outdoor. Kentucky/Tennessee not to far away for even more recreational choices.

I would suggest that you do some research, your local library should be able to help you, it all depends on what you looking for , lower priced housing, better paying jobs, nice weather, all stipulations need to be considered. I love Hawaii, beautiful and excellent weather, only it is very expensive to live there, and even more pricey to buy a home. So we compromise and have a vacation home in Hawaii, and a home in The Chicago Subs, and soon will have another vacation home in West Palm Beach Florida. Best Wishes and Happy New year.
