Is SQL(structural query language) very useful in banking sector?

SQL is very useful in all sectors. It is a commonly used access language for RDBMSs (relational database management systems) and is not a proprietary product, although all vendors do have their own slightly amended versions. If you know SQL than you can work with most RDBMSs.
