How much on average is a elementary school teacher's salary?

It depends on where you live and the district you are teaching in but I think it is in the high 30's and low 40's to start. It goes up when you get more credits. Also if you are in a union it is good. The benefits are wonderful.

well it depends wat kinda teacher you are talking about.a special ed teacher usually earns 75 a day. regulars earn about 50 a day

It usually depends on the state. The unions have negotiated set salaries, so, no, the subject you teach will not usually matter. Private schools, however, have the ability to pay higher salaries to attract and keep the best teachers. They will also give merit-based pay increases, instead of the cost of living increase you may get from a public school.
