What area of accounting would you study if you were going to be tested at a Steel Mill?

I was called for testing for a position in the accounting department and I really need this job. Problem is I haven't did any accounting in a year since I graduated (BA). Just wondering if anyone had an idea of what should I study. Accounting book are large. It would really narrow my focus.

weights, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, taxes, hiring forms, spreadsheet and wordprocessor use. would be the best bet.. An accounting department is an accounting department, if you study the broad range of skills, anything that is industry specific they will teach you.

Purchase a bookkeeping training manual from the MYOB web site...download the software (trial version) for free...total cost about $30...work through the training manual and practice exercises you will really refresh your understanding. Reading an accounting manual will be dry & dificult. Practice is a lot quicker way to pick this sort of stuff up.
