What is a quick career I can have?

I have a B.A. in English and was a teacher and a journalist. Now jobs have dried up in journalism and in NO WAY do I want to go back to teaching. What is a career that I can jump into w/minimal training? Something like a boat captain or a massage therapist, Anything! Give me some ideas.

The best fastest thing to get into is retail design. Like at Home depot. It seems like a run of the mill retail job but you can expand your horizons by being a rep for a comapny or even becoming a top design specialist. The pay at first is less than teaching but you go up in rank fast and have multiple opportunities.
