antonio m
question about occupational health and safety jobs?
Asked by antonio m
Does anyone know any of the top paying companies with employees that have degrees in environmental health and safety with their salaries and positions. I am looking more towards the occupational safety rather than environment. Also jobs other than osha, but learning osha's salaries for different positions wouldn't be bad. Thank you for everyone who took the time to read this!

Best Answer:
The salaries are dependent on a number of issues, with the degree being one of them. Experience and location of the job are greater factors than a degree itself. In the NY/NJ area look for a salary of 40K to 50K without experience, 65K to 80K with the experience and the degree. The top paying companies would be in the chemical manufacturing or pharmaceutical fields. But they would also be looking for a background in science or Industrial Hygiene and not strictly OSH.

Try the ACLU- They are in everybody's buisness, whether it is theirs or not.
