What is the difference between a Manager and an Agent, if any?
Asked by Rover
In terms of representing an artist/ band or professional sportsperson (particularly boxers). Do the two terms mean different things? Or are they two names for the same role?
I am interested in becoming a manager for either a boxer or a band (having a passion for both but being no good at either!). I do, however, have a good head for business and numbers and could, if I wanted, sell a fridge freezer to an Eskimo.
So what's involved? Thanks!
