how long does it take to become certified in phlebotomy?

how long does it take to get certified in phlebotomy in the state of west virginia? do you have to be a graduate? can you have a GED? do you know about how much it pays in west virginia?

I live in Ky. A local course here takes about 6 weeks and at the hospital I work at, they start out at about $9 per hour they are also union here too. I would say WV would be about the same as far as money and school. I would imagine you would have to have a GED or high school diploma, you do to work in the hospital. GOod luck!!
