How much money should I be making?
Asked by jarrod w
I have been working for a multi million dollar concrete company for 10 months, with some previous time in also, but I have now graduated with a B. A. in Behavioral Sciences. They have promoted me from a general laborer to a staff position to oversee Special Projects. I was making $9.25 per hour, now I am making $10.00 an hour. Should I ask for another raise, and if so how much?

uhhhhh..... what does concrete have to do with a B.A. in behavioral sciences? maybe your in the wrong field.

A:
Umm [scratching my head], let me get this straight. You lugged around concrete all day, but in your spare time you got a degree in behavioral sciences and now you want more money... How exactly does your new qualification help you to instruct others to carry the concrete better? Are you going to be able to predict the mood swings of the concrete or something? You know, like "watch out everybody, going by it's body language, the concrete is p1ssed off today!". No, that's just silly now, isn't it? Heh, heh, heh... GET BACK TO WORK IDIOT AND DON'T EVER TALK ABOUT A RAISE AGAIN, YA'HEAR??!!
