An educated and highly trained automotive technician will earn a little over 20,000 per year working in London. Unfortunately, most of these characters we have parading themselves as auto mechanics in London are no better trained than tyre or exhaust fitters who left school without any qualifications. These guys are usually just getting by on about 12 or 13 grand ayear. These sharks are the ones to watch out for, because these are the usual suspects who'll try to fiddle you for more of your hard earned cash. Many work at unscrupulous local garages and national chain store tyre centre's, etc., where they pay these guys in handshakes and make them hustle people to earn a 10% commission on all parts they con people into purchasing. It's a racket and most of these cats should be locked away in a prison cell some place.
