How do I get started in a truck driving career?

I obtained a CDL class A license, with HazMat and doubles/triples, but I have no experience, and no driving training school. 10 year clean MVR. Insurance regs are tough... will I need to drive cross country as a team driver until I get a few months experience? Thanks. Just wanted to clarify... I do have a 10 yr clean MVR.

Try getting some time with a semi dump truck, then a freight hauler. Not many people want someone with no experience driving their equipment.
