Auto body tech vs. auto mechanic career.?

I have an eye for color and shapes and designs, yet at the same time I like getting my hands dirty and seeing that the car runs good and is in tip top shape. Pros and cons and opinions whether good or bad will be helpful. THANKS

Metal basher or mechanic. Well the world needs both in abundance and work is plentliful. I say mechanic because there are more avenues for employment with an engineers mind. All things rely on moving machinery, engines etc. So consider that in your analysis for career paths.
