What the normal rate to charge for babysitting and for cleaning someone house?

I just put an ad in the paper saying I would babysit or clean houses or even run errands. The problem is I have no idea what I should charge. I want to be reasonable yet no charge to little. Can anyone help? Thanks.

maybe 8 bucks for babysitting and 15 bucks to clean a room

it depends on your experience, most baby sitters I know get 10-15 an hour but they have lots of experience, and I used to get 10 an hour to clean houe but if you have little experience or ar younger you may want to start lower like 7.
