I would like to start a house cleaning service and house sitting service, any ideas?

I am a single mom of two tweens and would like to make a full time living from house cleaning, housesitting, baby sitting and animal care....what ever the customer wants. Any suggestions from people who have done this successfully?

My uncle lost his job and went out, purchased a vacuum and other cleaning materials and started cleaning houses. Now he bids on new construction jobs with builders and cleans the new houses before the people move into them. He is rolling in the $. Good luck.

Why not become a Personal Shopper? You can shop for executives, eldery, etc. for special occasions. You charge a flat rate per order, e.g. $20.00 charge to order flowers for Secretary Week for an office of women. (Male bosses wouldn't have any idea on what kind to buy or how many). All you would have to do in this case is order them from home, and you would have made $20.00. You could also charge a percentage of the total bill in lieu of a flat rate.
