Is Chinese (Mandarin) a good language to learn for a future software engineer?

I was wondering if Mandarin Chinese was beneficial for a software engineer.

Whichever language u learn, programming will stay in English..

No...you don't need to know that at all to be a software engineer. And me being Chinese is just a coincidence....

what's wrong with english? Instead of learning chinese, it'd be wise to learn different programming languages. That'd be more beneficial.
