Better Career Opition- as in salary. Building Surveyor or a Drilling Engineer (oil & gas)?

Going to college soon, and i can't deciede between the two courses, which regard the two careers i mentioned. Thanks.

I think Drilling engineer. But do you mean like you would be working on the oil brigs and all that? ^That entails that you would be away from home for a long time (like 6 weeks away, 6 weeks back) and all that. However, I still think anything to do with oil would pay more, as it is alot more dangerous.
