James
Why does a college professor make less than a construction worker?
Asked by James

A:
Best Answer:
It's the joys of a free market economy. People are paid what they deserve or what others are willing to pay them how ever you want to look at it. If you had some of the professors I've had though you wouldn't be wondering why they get paid so little.

A:
cause construction workers are blue collars and they deserve the most.

A:
1) The work is more physically demanding. 2) They work really long hours a lot of days. 3) They don't get half the days off that a Professor would. 4) Construction work is dangerous. Other than that, there's not much difference.
