How old should you be to be a babysitter?

My friend wants to be a baby sitter she is 12 do you have sum tips on how to be a baby sitter and how much to charge for a beginner and how old you need to be in Ontario Canada to be a baby sitter she has experience around kids and baby’s please help

I would leave a mature 12 year old with my 4 and 5 year old. But for my 4 month old baby. I would say 14 or 15. But I believe it all depends on the maturity level and experience of the person babysitting I usually pay my babysitters $8.00 an hour. I'm not sure if there are any laws governing the age of babysitting.

12 is a good age, as long as she's mature enough. I did a few day jobs when I was 11.
