If someone quits a job in Ontario, Canada, what paper work does the employer need to file?

Located in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. They walked off the job without saying anything to the employer and did not return after that. Not heard from them since.

The employer needs to file an ROE...Record of Employment.

The employer must submit a Record of Employment (ROE) to Human Resources Canada (I think that's the government agency.) Anyhow, it's an ROE. Yeah, I worked at a call centre was shocked at the absenteeism. It was 30%. Then a bigger shock was how most quit. They just stopped showing up for work. After 3 no call, no shows they call the person at home, "Oh, I quit!" What's wrong with this yuounger generation!?!? How can you just stop showing up for work and not give any notice?!?!?! Beats me!! -- Liam
