Asked by merv_e
How do I get a job in the oil sands. I have tried to find the web sites for alberta's jobs. I just can't seem to find where they post their jobs. I am an experienced oilfield worker looking for a job in Fort Mcmurray

There is a web site that has online applications for Syncrude Canada. it is www.syncrude.ca/users/folder.asp I don't know what type of oilfield work you have done, but Fort McMurray does not do any type of drilling. it is done by a mining process. www.syncrude.ca will show you what they do. The other major site at Mildred Lake, mines the same way. the oil and gas well drilling is farther south, starting just south of athabasca. My ex husband is a senior executive at syncrude in Calgary. If you would like to know the person to contact about jobs. email me
Lived in Fort McMurray 14+ years worked for Syncrude during construction of Oil Sands Plant
