Legal secretary is a good paying job, and so is Executive Secretary. What city and state are you in? In California, in the Bay Area, ie, San Francisco, Palo Alto legal secretaries can earn from $70k a year and up. In the Sacramento area in California, it is not unheard of to earn $50k a year, mostly if you work downtown. You would have to have some above average clerical skills to be a legal secretary and/or administrative assistant. I don't know what salaries medical secretaries earn, but I am a legal secretary, so I can speak on that.

I'm honestly not sure what the highest form of secretary would be, but I recently learned of a position in Kentucky that is paying $41 per hour. So, if your simply interested in the amount of income you would make, with this particular job you would make in one month, before taxes, $6560. This of course is based off of a 40 hour work week. I'd say that is quite an excellent opportunity, if your willing to work in KY that is. Best of luck to you!
