Is there life after a career in Law Enforcement??

I have been in a Police Officer for 17 years and I am now working in Iraq for the Department of State. My mission will be finished this year. There is no money in Law Enforcement, especialy in the south. What kind of work should I pursue when I go back to the States?

call you follow retiring police officer together and set up a private security firm you will enjoy it since you already have experience in security matters

I'm in the same boat. I did state probation/parole for almost 10 yrs. and can find nothing else with even equal pay. good luck !

how much money are you happy with..? try coming to Florida they need lots of officers down here the money is ok...officer.com.. see the job openings...military would be my next option...
