what degree do i need, to become a dental hygienist? (i need information)?

im planning to go to a community college first and then transfering to another college. i think after i finish the 2 years of the community college i'll receive a b.s. does that make sense? im only 16 years old, i dont know much about degrees and getting jobs. so maybe i should ask, what do i need, so i can get a job as a dental hygienist?

Where I live, you can go to a tech school and it is a 2 year associate degree.
