What should I do I want to become a mental health counselor?

What should I do to help me move toward that goal and I'm 15 years old.Should I continue doing things like peer mediation or anything else? I've done peer mediation in elementary school. What subjects would help me in that area? I don't know but I thougt about a feminist therapist. I'm in 9th grade.
