Anyone have any idea of what it takes to be an insurance salesperson?

Our family Statefarm salemen told my dad that I should look into selling insurance because they make 30k-60k a year salary or whatver. WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL IS REQUIRED TO SALE INSURANCE?

Insurance is a great field to get into. You need to study for the P&C license exam. (P&C = property and casualty) Once you get started there are several certifications you can earn. CFP, CLU, ChFC and many more. These are all good things that you can add to a business card to make yourself look important.

Judging from my insurance guy,, takes very little education. But mine has good office help to do everything. Statefarm will train you.
