What is the best second job for a teacher?
Asked by Hope W
I am a teacher with a M.Ed. and I am looking for a second job. I would only like to work this extra job during the summers..preferably doing something that doesn't have me tutoring or working at a daycare/preschool. I love photography and would like to do something lucrative with my camera but I don't know where to get started. Does anyone have some constructive suggestions?

Since you're on the Internet why don't you start a webpage or a blog and post your pictures there. A good place to start would be with your own area/locality or if you have a specific interest then you could do pictures of that and post them online. Now where does the money come from? Well the most popular way is accepting advertising. I know a story of someone who posted pictures on their website or blog or something and was hired by a local company to take pictures of their products. You can also add advertising to your site or blog using something like Google's Adsense or Ebay. If you're curious as to the amount of money you can earn using this method just go to the sites mentioned above to see about how others are earning money using sites like these.
