What kind of training do I need to become a certified draftsman?

I am currently a sophomore in an aerospace engineer program, but am thinking of just becoming a draftsman. I have 4 years of technical drafting experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Also, any info on what kind of salary to expect would be helpful.

Well start by leaving doors open. A good draftsman always knows where the wind is blowing. You must also remember you may have to close up drafts. Determining where drafts are at and being able to fix them should be tops on your list.
