Where can I go to see if people need a babysitter or a pet sitter in CT?

I am trying to babysit or watch peoples pets. I am good at both. Love kids and love animals. Where can I go to see who is looking for this?

Since both are tasks that require trust, you need to go to a place where you can first gain trust before people will let you babysit or pet-sit. If you're starting out, make some business cards or flyers... try vistaprint.com for cheap business cards, than join your community groups, maybe church groups or whatever you're into. Good luck!

Many homes associations and church bulletins have low cost ad rates - like our homeowner's assn. newsletter goes out to 400 homes 4 times a year and you can get an ad in there for $25. You can print up business cards and hand them out to friends and neighbors. My daughter got hers on magnets and handed them out for people to put on thier refreigerator. Also look into any certifications or classes you can take - they might have ideas for you. My daughter took 2 days of classes in child safety and so advertises that on her card.
