Yes there are other jobs within the post office other than delivering mail and working at the widow. You have the truck drivers who deliver the mail to your local office from other places, workers that unload incoming mail and load outgoing mail, workers that sort the mail and cancel the stamps, secretaries, maintenance work.

i'm sure there's a lot... the post office, like most other companies, have also their "back office" that is in charge of accounting, sales, marketing, business development, admnistration, maintenance, etc... all these departments are pretty much standard with any other companies. the post office's main service is delivering mail, but it doesn't mean it's all they do.
