i doubt it, i think they do earn quite well in the summer but not so well in the winter they are also self employed so if he says he earns that much remember he still has to pay tax and national insurance out of that.

My cleaner charges £7.00 and it takes him apx 15/20 mins, so lets say average of 15 mins at £7,00 = 28 x 9 hr day =252.00 x 6 days = 1,512.00 Bloodyhell!! have i done my sums right here??

Work it out.How much does he charge, front and back, say £5.Does 20 houses in the morning and 20 in the afternoon. Is that reasonable?OK so that day 40 houses at £5 each, that's £200.Work 5 days. 5 times 200 is £1000.OK he might be a bit cheaper or may not do quite so many houses or he might have a day off in the week but he can easily take £600. with no overheads,Perhaps a van, a few gallons of petrol. a ladder,a bucket a sponge. a squeegee and a squirt of fairy liquid. Can't be bad can it..

i used to work for a window cleaner and believe me they can make it a good window cleaner can get a lot of jobs done on a day and when they work a 5 or 6 day week it is easy.
Ask him how much he tells the tax man about though lol

A:
mine charges £2 at that rate it coul be true
600 quid a week divided by 5 days a week = money made per day
answer divided by an 8 hour day = money made per hour = 15 quid
15 quid divided by £2 means they would have to do 7.5 houses in an hour and that seems possible to me
starting to reget doing my degree now
