How can I get a job driving a UPS truck in the Southern, NY or Twin Tiers area?

I would like to drive a truck for UPS working for the postal service. Does anybody know where I can obtain an application for this line of work? I am highly interested in working for UPS and any help that you can give me would be very much appreciated.

As a former UPS employee, the part time teamsters have priority for the full time drivers slot. The list is a long list which is based on senoirity.
You can receive a referral from the office of unemployment.

UPS often hires on a part-time basis and then promotes individuals into the highly coveted truck driving positions. Go to the nearest UPS location, or apply online, but realize that you'll probably have to work your way up the ladder.

go to one to their depots where their trucks leave from:
and talk with a mgr. over there expressing interest of employment and want to start as christmas help as a UPS driver. (that's how I did it)
