I cant find a welding job in ohio?

i have been a mig welder for 30 years off and on.i planned to retire this year but i need at least a part time job.every welding place i go wants a TIG welder.am i a dinosaur? gotta be someone in ohio that still uses a mig? i only do steel,i dont mess with aluminum or cast iron.maybe i should go back to welding school

Go on back to welding school. It could be a hoot for you. Heck I've been trained in "Fine Arts" for my college education, then years later went back to school for "Graphic Design" I had a great time.
A little more knowledge never hurt anyone, and with a part time job in retirement you could probably pay it off lickety-split.

Going back to school is never a bad idea and you could probably get certified in TIG prtetty quickly, allowing you to get the job you want.

There are alot of these jobs still in different counties...I know Erie and Huron counties have the "original" methods still in place like Norwalk Concrete Inc.- you can also look into learning new ways while your there IF you are planning on doing this very long...or use your knowledge to build your own stuff and sell it..that way you can work as needed.
