What steps do I need to take to become a nurse???
Asked by snake_3620
Hi I am going to be 24 soon and I am thinking about persuing a career in nursing or in the medical field. I'll be honest I don't know much about the field. My g/f is a CNA and im not 100% sure how I would handle doing some of the stuff she does with the older people really. Although alot of the stuff she tells me about also sounds interesting. I have had quite a few jobs from a delivery truck driver to warehouse work to grocery stores. I cant seem to find anything that I am passionate about. I thought I wanted to be a cop for pretty much most my life, that is until I joined the service for that and found it just wasnt for me. I only made it 2yrs, although I did still recieve an honerable diss. I guess I am most looking for information on what all I need todo as far as school. I was never really good in school thats what I am most worried about in going to college, being that I'd be paying for it. Are technical schools any good so I wouldnt have to do ALL the basic classes again?

*try getting in touch with your local hospital and asking them how to become a nurse. the will give you the low down and put you in the right direction.
