How much does unemployment payout in the state of Florida?
Asked by camsupafyne
I was recently laid off of my job due to the real estate market screeching to a hault. My former employer advised me that I would be elgible for unemployment assistance from the State of Florida. I applied and now my application is pending, but nowhere during the online application process did it state how much I would be elgible for. Is it a percentage of what my salary was? Or is it the full salary? Or is it just one set price regulated by the state???? Thanks in advance.

The unemployment office figures it on certain quarters of the year prior to your becoming unemployed. It is a percentage of what you earned during the time they are determining on. No, it is definitely not full salary. You will be struggling so try to get work soon.
