Is there a certain requirement to how many janitorial staff is allowed in a certain sq. foot?

I trying to find research on if there is a certain requirement for how many janitorial staff is allowed to work in a certain sq. foot. For instance, a teacher in high school has to have a minimum amount of students to teach and can't go over a certain amount. Is there something similiar to that for a janitorial staff?
