Hi! Then perhaps you may need to look for those companies that possess a positive environmental impact. Think fo some companies that falls within that category and then check it out at their websites if they have any. Find out more information about them by various way, example; prospectus (if any), business magazines, newspaper articles, etc or through discussion channels with people who know something about those companies. Do some study on them so that you can streamline them to leaving only those that you resonate with. Prepare a resume with all your supportive credentials and documents, if possible do a power-point presentation and burn it into a CD, find out the name of their "big-shot" and then give them a call to try and fix an appointment to "sell" yourself. Impress them with something you know about them as that shows that you are really interested and bothered to find out about them. Finally, the rest will depends on how you project yourself in front of them already. Remember...first impression, good or bad, will last for a long time. It will determine whether or not you will get the job. Good luck to you!

can you come up with some kind of a power cell for my house that doesn't burn coal, or oil, or any carbon based fuel that will supply my home with electric for 50+ years? something I can pay for monthly and not be more than twice the rates I pay today?? (Jo figures rates will double in next 10 years anyways)

You can start a electric generator unit, which runs on bio fuels, say from, municipal wastes. Initially you can start manufacturing small units, which can take care of a large house, and later go for bigger ones for small village etc., even small industrial usage. Being, confident in technical sales, you can go for this project. Your Government may fund you with zero interest, as being given in India. Here they wave off the 50% of loan amount, as subsidy, for promoting, eco friendly, energy development. As in India, there must be a separate department for alternative energy, in your Country also. Contact them. I foresee good success in this venture. Good luck.

Im a mechanical engineer graduate and im working for a Heating company that specialises in geo-thermal energy production for domestic buildings. Geo - thermal energy is extracting heat from the ground via a heat pump which compresses gas to increase temperature, This in turn can heat your house and provide hot water. The system is entirely environmently positive because all the heat pump does is extract heat from the ground and it runs at 400% efficency due to the controls(which you could specilise in) compared to the average oil boiler which are up to 70% - 80% efficient. The only carbon emissions generated are the 18kW needed to power the heat pump the companies next project is to power the heat pump with small wind turbines.
